1. Easy A
Olive is a teenager who gave in to the social pressure instilled by her best friend and pretended that she was no longer a virgin and that she had lost her virginity to a college student, which spread a rumor throughout the school that grew as it was spread by word of mouth until people began to say that she was not only no longer a virgin but that she also charged for some encounters with her schoolmates.
Desperate because the lie had grown to exorbitant levels, she decides to take action to spread the truth of everything.
It is a comedy film and about the drama that the life of a teenager can have.
2. LOL
Lola is in high school, and despite her young age, she has been in a very turbulent relationship from which, after much time, she finally manages to break free. However, shortly after, she begins to see her best friend in a new light.
I find this story very sweet because it explores how easily friendship can evolve into love, and how difficult it can be to face the possibility of losing your best friend.
3. Never Have I Ever
Devi is a teenager of Indian descent, who lives in the State of California with her mother and a cousin. After the death of her father, her only consolation has been her best friends and her psychologist, who were key in her entire grieving process.
However, back at school she decides that this will be the year she will lose her virginity and sets her plan in motion without knowing who will be the person who will help her achieve her goal, without losing sight of the fact that her mother is too strict and has strictly forbidden her contact with boys.
4. Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spiderman is a Marvel classic, and even though we all know the story, in this particular film we can see mostly Peter Parker’s life at school, seeing that before and after becoming Spiderman he had to continue a life of incognito in which nobody knew that he was Peter Parker. Therefore he had to undergo all the experiences of an ordinary teenager, such as of course the homecoming dance.
5. Crush
A girl who wants with all her heart to enter an arts university must write an essay about the happiest moment of her life, the only problem is that she doesn’t think she has experienced it yet.
At the same time, an opportunity presents itself to get closer to her lifelong crush, however, for this, she will have to join the school’s athletics club,
6. Pretty Little Liars
A group of friends living in a small town are surprised by the unexpected disappearance of Allison, who was the most popular friend of all.
After her disappearance, the lives of Hannah, Spencer, Aria and Emily, who even though they were being stalked by someone they didn’t know, must continue living their normal teenage lives, facing all the experiences that normal teenagers must live.
7. Pretty Little Liars (Original Sin)
I watched Pretty Little Liars a few years ago, and when I heard they were doing this sequel, I didn’t expect it to be so good. It has many references to old scary movies — starting with Carrie — even though I don’t really like horror movies that much.
Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin is set temporarily years after the end of Pretty Little Liars. It basically has the same plot twists: a group of friends is haunted by someone who calls themselves “A.” The difference is that here, “A” wants to kill them, and everything becomes so bloody and scary. The mask that “A” wears is really terrifying.
I just finished Season 2 and it was amazing; I totally recommend it. I really hope we can get a renewal for Season 3.
8. Love, Victor
Victor starts at a new high school in a new state and is eager to define his personality and sexuality.
He will have to face many things, including his attraction to boys, because he has never felt anything like what he is going to experience in this new chapter of his life.
The series comes from the writers of Love, Simon, a movie with a somewhat similar plot but different in other ways. So if you liked that film, you’ll probably love the series.
9. Me and Earl and the Diying Girl.
After Rachel is diagnosed with leukemia, Greg and Earl have the “task” of helping her cope with her illness while continuing in high school.
They will end up becoming best friends through the painful process of watching their friend die day by day, but with the hope intact that she might be saved.
It’s a movie that’s definitely worth watching, but if you don’t like sad films, it’s not for you; I wouldn’t recommend it.
10. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
I remember watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch many years ago, so when I saw they were making a series about Sabrina, I was very excited.
As I started watching the series, I realized it wasn’t exactly the same; in fact, it was better. Personally, I loved it. I enjoy paranormal things a lot, but not too much, and this series manages to scare me without keeping me up at night.Principio del formulario
